NOTICE TO GOLF & BOWLING MEMBERS

Dear Members,

The Board and Management of Wallacia Country Club would like to thank all our Golf and Bowling Members for their continued support and participation in club activities.

Property Acquisition Update

Members may be aware that the Club has been engaged in discussions regarding the potential purchase of adjoining land from Catholic Cemeteries.

We are pleased to advise that recent negotiations have been positive, with constructive discussions continuing between both parties. While there are still matters to be finalised and no formal agreement has yet been reached, the progress made to date is encouraging.

The Board remains committed to pursuing opportunities that may enhance the Club’s long-term future and provide benefits for our members. We will continue to keep members informed as discussions progress and will provide further updates when appropriate.

Synthetic Bowling Green Feasibility Assessment

As part of the Club’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving our sporting facilities, the Board is currently undertaking due diligence regarding the potential installation of a synthetic bowling green at the Golf Club.

This process involves assessing the financial, operational, and long-term maintenance implications of such a project, as well as considering the potential benefits to members and the future sustainability of our bowling facilities.

No final decision has been made at this stage. The Board is carefully reviewing all available information to ensure that any future investment is in the best interests of both the Bowling members and the Golf Club as a whole.

Members will be kept informed as the assessment progresses, and further details will be provided once the due diligence process has been completed.
